Engineering PDF Toolkit
Merge, split, and rotate PDFs for equipment manuals, site packs, inspection reports, and drawing sets.
This tab merges PDFs. Top to bottom in the list is the page order of the result. Drag a card to change that order.
Drag a card up or down. The merged file follows this list from top to bottom.
This tab splits a PDF. Cut it into single pages, or into ranges you name.
This tab rotates pages. Turn them by 90, 180, or 270 degrees, or align mixed portrait and landscape pages.
This tab merges PDFs into one equipment manual. Files join in the numbered order below. Empty slots are skipped.
This tab merges PDFs into one inspection pack. Files join in the numbered order below. Empty slots are skipped.
This tab merges PDFs into one delivery pack. Files join in the numbered order below. Empty slots are skipped.
This tab aligns drawing orientation (rotate). A3 and A4 sheet sizes stay as they are. Pages that already match the orientation you pick are left alone; the others turn in the direction you choose.
Tips
Build a manual in slot order
Cover, specification, safety, operation, maintenance, drawings. Empty slots are skipped, so a short pack still comes out in plant order.
Keep A3 and A4 on their own sheets
A drawing set can mix sizes. Align orientation does not rescale paper. It only turns pages that were fed the other way through the scanner.
Pick the turn direction for title blocks
90° and 270° both swap portrait and landscape, but the title block ends up on opposite edges. Choose clockwise or counter-clockwise, preview, then apply.
Print to PDF before you merge forms
Fillable fields and unsaved mark-up can shift once pages sit in a new file. Print to PDF from the source viewer if the pack must match what you already signed off.
Common Use Cases
Equipment manual
Drop cover, spec, safety, operation, maintenance, and drawings into the slots. Skip what you do not have. The download follows that plant order.
Inspection report pack
Report, measurements, photos, attachments — one file for the customer and the archive.
Delivery documents
Cover, contents, specification, test sheet, drawings, and the manual, in the order a handover folder expects.
Drawing set from a mixed scan
A3 and A4 stay mixed. Pages that came through the ADF sideways turn to one orientation, in the direction you choose.
One chapter out of a thick spec
Split by page range when only the safety chapter or a drawing appendix needs to travel.
